IMPORTANT!!! PROTECT YOUR HOSE WARRANTY! Hose Manufacturers are requiring the following: All requests for hose warranties must include the return of the hose COMPLETE WITH FITTINGS!! Using Re-useable fittings or hydraulic fittings voids the warranty of the hose due to the sharp edges. Chemical resistant hose is comprised of three layers, an inner chemical resistant hose, a braided reinforcing, and an outer protective coating. Damage to the soft inner layer is possible if fittings are not installed properly. Manufacturers are refusing to honor warranties in the absence of the properly installed fittings. If you are replacing hose and installing your own fittings please see the reverse side for manufacturers recommendations. Replacement Hose including fittings is available from Really Innovations. Really Innovations must receive the hose complete with fittings to submit for warranty consideration, your compliance with this is mandatory if you are requesting warranty replacement. This is required whether fittings were installed by the customer or Really Innovations. "JF Oaks Sales and Marketing" Lubricate the hose barb with a soap and water solution (kitchen detergent is fine), and dip the hose end in as well, for added lubrication. DO NOT USE OIL OR GREASE. They penetrate and soften the plastic. Push the barb straight in, with a twisting motion. Rocking it back and forth can snag and tear the tube, or cause it to fold inward. Use the correct size. (Sometimes it isn't obvious). A loose barb allows a crease to form. A barb too large can split the tube. Do not deform hose by over tightening clamps. The tube may split. Hoses designed for pesticides are chemical resistant not chemical proof, which means they deteriorate over time. Flushing hoses will prolong their useful life. Do not pull a kink through , untwist it. Pulling a kink through can damage the inner layers. Use vinyl hose guards. Vinyl hose guards are plastic sheaths that slide over the fitting and cover 4-5" of the hose. They give support to the area of maximum stress.
